2018 Availability Update

As of August 2018, we are no longer taking custom cookie orders. 


Each flavor is a variation of the classic sugar cookie cutout. Our flavors include:

Classic Vanilla
Sugar N' Spice (Available September-December)
Gingerbread (Available December Only)
Lemon Buttermilk (Available May-September)

Each cookie is decorated with vanilla royal icing.


All of our cookies contain milk, eggs, and wheat. 


Each cookie is made and decorated by hand which requires quite a bit of time and care. Pricing is based on the complexity of the design and the size of the cookie. Most cookies start at $3.50/cookie. Ordering and Payment

Minimum order is 2 dozen cookies. Order requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date and are subject to availability. (For large custom orders, please allow at least 4 weeks to ensure availability.) In some instances, we may be able to fulfill an order with less than 2 weeks lead time (rush order) for an additional charge.

To start the order process, please fill out the order request form. We will contact you within 48 hours of your request to go over the details of your order. 

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the finalization of the order to secure your date, if the order is over $200 and is placed at least one month ahead of the event date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. If the order is under $200 and is placed at least one month ahead of the event date, the full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. If the order is placed less than a month before the event, the order must be paid in full at the time of the order. 

We accept cash, checks, Venmo, Paypal, and all major credit cards.

Pick-up and Delivery

Cookies are made to-order in a rented commercial kitchen space and are available for pick-up or delivery in the Madison, Wisconsin area. We will coordinate your pick-up/delivery time after we receive your order request form.


Pick-ups are free of charge. The location for pick-up is at the FEED Kitchens:
1219 N. Sherman Ave.
Madison, WI 53704

FEED Kitchens is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm. Pick-ups can also be arranged for weekday evenings after 5:30pm and on weekends (subject to availability).


There is an additional delivery fee of $5 for deliveries in Madison, $10 for deliveries in the Madison area (Middleton, Verona, Fitchburg, etc). Orders can be delivered early morning before 8:30am or in the evening after 5:30pm.

In special circumstances and based on availability, delivery outside of the Madison area but within 300 miles of Madison may be possible. If you have any questions, please contact us at cookiesbykatewi@gmail.com.


While we do not ship cookies as a part of our standard service, we can ship cookies for additional fee (cost of shipping and handling) upon request. Please inquire if you are interested in shipping cookies.

Cancellation and Return Policy

Orders may be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to the event date. If the order has been paid in full, 50% of the payment will be refunded. Any orders that are cancelled less the 2 weeks prior to the event date are non-refundable. Please note that regardless of cancellation, the 50% deposit is always non-refundable.
